Shree Ramkrishna Export (SRK), one of India’s leading
manufacturers of loose diamonds and diamond jewellery had laid the foundation
for its new diamond manufacturing unit in Surat. It has been built with the
world’s most technologically advanced processes to lend new benchmarks for
standards in diamond cutting & polishing.
Govind Dholakia, the chairman of Shree Ramkrishna Export stated that
this is ‘a landmark day in the history of SRK’. The infrastructure of the
factory comprises of 250,000 sq.ft. Facility with the latest diamond planning
& cutting equipment, sophisticated IT network solutions designed by HP, and
highly advanced security systems.
It was inaugurated by Varda Shine DTC CEO and Guest of
Honour at the event, along with colleagues from De Beers Group and the Diamond
Trading Company (DTC).
Govind Dholakia, the chairman further added that, “This facility
ranks among the most modern and efficient diamond manufacturing plants in the
world and strengthens our ability to produce the finest diamonds for our
growing customer base.”
